Home Depot profits from immigrant labor—on construction sites, in disaster recovery, and beyond. Yet, when immigrant workers are targeted by ICE raids, harassment, and arrests, Home Depot remains silent. This silence is complicity.
Immigrant workers and day laborers are the backbone of our communities, but they are also the first to face criminalization, racism, and violence. ICE raids are tearing families apart and creating fear in neighborhoods across the country.
We cannot stand by while this injustice continues. Together, we can demand accountability from Home Depot and protect the workers who make our communities thrive.
Adopt a Day Labor Corner
NDLON’s Adopt a Day Labor Corner campaign is a grassroots movement to protect immigrant workers and day laborers from harassment and ICE raids. By adopting a corner, you commit to showing up, building relationships, and standing in solidarity with the workers who gather there.
What does it mean to adopt a corner?
Be Present: Show up regularly at a local day labor corner (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, or other hardware stores).
Build Community: Form relationships with day laborers and offer support.
Provide Protection: Your presence can deter harassment and create a safer environment.
Why it matters:
When we stand together, we send a powerful message: Immigrant workers deserve dignity, respect, and protection—not fear and violence.
Only the People Can Save the People—Solo El Pueblo Salva Al Pueblo!
